John Richards is the Head of Battery Manufacturing for Siemens - a leading global supplier of industrial plant and software, manufacturing automation, drive technologies, and electrification to industrial customers across the UK and Ireland.
Joining Siemens in 2007 and since 2018 John has worked closely with the UK Battery Manufacturing Ecosystem, government agencies, HVM Catapults and academia.
As Head of Battery Manufacturing, he dedicates his time to developing leading technology innovation to benefit Siemens industrial customers, working as technology partner to some of the largest Gigafactory Projects in the world.
